Gujarat Electricity Board Engineer's Association is abbreviated as "GEBEA". It is a registered trade Union since 1969, having registration No. G-653. Employees working in cadre of Engineers, Doctors, Programmers, Chemist & similar technical categories in GUVNL and its subsidiary Companies (i.e. erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board) are the members of the Association. GEBEA's members can maintain their affiliation after retirement or resignation with Association by way of "Associated Life Member.
Basic objective of GEBEA is to protect the interest of its members and to maintain harmonious industrial relations with employer to fulfil the objective of the Association. It has three tier management, Viz. Core committee; Central Managing Committee (CMC) and Company Executive Committee (CEC). At Circle Level there is also Circle level committee as well separate legal cell to deal with legal activities.
